Proven Advice To Change Your Entire Life - Inspiration From Great Leaders

The following paragraphs include paraphrases of things that have been said by a few people that I admire along with a few thoughts their words inspired me to have.  I hope they inspire you also.

On giving people what they want; inspired by Harry Truman:

If you really want to be popular; first find out what people want to do, then advise them to do it.  I know a few people who are able to recruit people in to their opportunity any time they want simply because they tell everyone that they will build their business for them.  I would suppose from this that there are a lot of people out there who want others to do all the work for them.  I would also suppose that a team made up of people who want you to do all of their work is worth about as much as you are when you are working alone. 

On Character; inspired by John Wooden: 

Your ability to please the masses may get you to the top but it is only your character that will keep you on top.  You should be more concerned with your character than your reputation.  Your character is what you are while your reputation is only what people think you are.  When you see yourself as a leader, as a champion, as a person of strong character, you can’t help but follow that guy.  And, you’ll do it with enthusiasm.  You will also find, through character, that you are not in the business of giving people what they want so much as helping them find out who they are. 

On the correlation between hard work and winning; inspired by Vince Lombardi: 

The quality of a person’s life is in direct proportion to their commitment to excellence.  The difference between a successful person and others who are not isn’t lack of strength or knowledge, but rather a lack of will.  The harder you work, the harder it is to surrender.  Success in life requires hard work, sacrifice, dedication and perseverance.  If you accept losing, you can’t win.  When you work hard to prepare for victory and expect to win, you can’t lose. 

An interesting source of inspiration; inspired by Paul Bear Bryant: 

There are three types of people who do network marketing.  There are winners who know they are winners.  There are losers who know they are losers.  Then there are those who are not winners but they don’t know it.  They never quit trying and they never quit working.  These are the people who make network marketing great.  These are the people who inspire us all to do better.  These are life’s champions.
