IS YOUR MLM WEBSITE A DARK HOLE?
By Rod Cook B.s., M.A., M.B.A.
YOUR MLM WEBSITE NEEDS TO COMPETE!
1 July 2003 - First you buy
tons of MLM advertising to get traffic to your website. Then NOBODY
buys your MLM product or service! What happened? Looking at the
graph below it shows that if your website is not well designed, your
MLM customers leave! So do potential MLM Distributors who might want
to help you sell your MLM product/service.
Your site has to look modern with new graphics. A little
flash is good, but not over ¼ page. Critical: how easy your site is
to use and how well it works? I ran teams of over 50 users (secret
shoppers) on commercial NON-MLM websites. Most sites were terrible. My testing crew got lost, couldn't sign up for what they wanted, or
the site was so slow it didn't exist dial for up modem users. MLM
websites have to be better because MLM is so competitive.

Thanks to http://www.Genex.com for
the research and http://www.emarketer.com for the Internet and
graphical presentation of the material
Persons
participating in the study said they would bypass a badly designed
site, even if it meant they had to settle for a product/service of
lesser quality. The next 28.7% said, web design was
"Extremely Important" and wouldn't buy from a trashy site.
The good news for us is that most of the Pyramid Scheme websites are
trash. That saves people for good MLM folks like you!
Make sure you know what words you want to put on your pages
to be sucked up by the Search Engines. That is a subject for many
other articles! Research Search Engines well or get a good web
builder that can do it! Most Can't! One web builder that I
recommend often who has shown a real mastery with Google and other
major search engines is Greg Arnold and his Internet marketing company
MLM
Success By Design. His email address is
greg@greg-arnold.com .
Give close thought to your website design. Does it
look modern? Is your sales copy crisp and enticing? Is
your site navigation simple? Jacob Nielsen (top gun web usability
guru) says, "Keep It Simple." Vincent Flander's
Websites that suck is a
learning riot! Keep up the good work bringing entrepreneurial
spirit to the world!!!Rod Cook is one of the major
