Another Reason; This Is A Letter I Sent Out On May 22, 2006

While both of those things are important,this letter that I received from Rod Bugg this morning, and that I am sending to you with his permission, really brings home the crusade that we are on. In 1998, the American Heart Association added obesity to its list of major risk factors for heart attack. The first symptom for 1/3 of all heart attack victims is sudden death. There are currently 116 million people in the U.S. at risk.

"Greg,

Well...I did it!!!...I passed the 50 pound mark! I...lost 4.2 pounds last week and as of this morning have now lost a total of 52 pounds in 73 days!  My wife is now down a total of 15.6 pounds in 48 days.

On a sad note...a guy I had looking at [the weight loss program]...and was very overweight at about 400 pounds...and had heart issues...died this morning of a heart attack. He was only 41 years old!
